Corrections Policy

Last updated: November 1, 2026

We work hard to get things right, and when we get something wrong we fix it quickly and openly.

How to report an error

Email [email protected] with the article link, the error and, if possible, a source that shows the correct information.

How we correct

  • Corrections: when a fact is wrong, we fix it in the article and add a note at the end explaining what was changed and when.
  • Clarifications: when a fact was accurate but unclear or missing context, we update the text and add a clarification note.
  • Updates: when a developing story changes, we add the new information and show the time of the latest update.

We do not quietly change facts in published articles. Typos and spelling fixes that do not change meaning may be made without a note.
