This policy explains how YouDailyNews reports, sources and publishes the news. It applies to everything we publish.
Accuracy and sourcing
- We confirm facts with primary sources wherever possible: official statements, filings, data releases, company announcements and on-the-record interviews.
- When we rely on another outlet’s reporting, we name and link to it.
- We link to our sources in the article so readers can verify them.
- Numbers, dates, names and quotes are checked before publication. We never invent or alter quotes.
Breaking news
Fast-moving stories are updated as facts are confirmed. Updated articles show the time of the latest update, and significant changes are noted in the article.
News, analysis and opinion
News articles report what happened. Analysis explains why it matters and is based on evidence. Opinion and reviews are clearly labeled as such.
Use of AI tools
We may use software, including AI tools, for tasks such as transcription, translation and research support. Every article is reviewed and edited by a person before publication, and a person is responsible for its accuracy.
Independence and conflicts of interest
Advertisers, sponsors and the companies we cover have no say in our editorial decisions. Sponsored content, if any, is labeled. Products sent to us for review do not guarantee coverage or a positive review.
Fairness
When a story makes serious claims about a person or organization, we try to give them a chance to respond before publication and say so if they decline.
